Reef Town
A remote coastal town. Quiet. Tourists pass through, take photos, leave. The locals keep to themselves.
Underneath, it’s run by a cult called the Void Gospel.
They control the drugs. The docks. The businesses. The people. If you’re labeled “useless,” you disappear. There’s a system. A form. A number that decides if you live or die.
Tavian didn’t ask to be here. His superiors sent him to this dead-end town as a final warning — solve a case with no evidence, no leads, and no one willing to talk, or lose his badge for good. They expect him to fail. Probably set it up that way.
He’s honest. Stubborn. Still believes in the law even when the people running it don’t. He has nowhere else to go. So he keeps pushing.
Then he runs into Iskra — a wanted fugitive he’s been chasing for three years. Smart. Bored. Finds most things uninteresting — except Tavian. The way he blushes. The way he keeps going even when he’s outmatched. The way he refuses to give up.
Iskra shouldn’t help. He’s not a good person. But the cult has something he needs — information, leverage, a way out of a mess he’s been running from. Working with Tavian is the only way in.
They’re not partners. They’re not allies. They’re two people using each other — for now.
Meanwhile, inside the church:
Cyril runs the drugs, the money, the logistics. Cold. Calculated. Everything runs through him. He doesn’t get his hands dirty — he makes sure things run smooth. The only person he’s ever cared about is Mia, a blind girl he met at the church celebration several years ago. Trained as the church’s weapon. Used as a tool. She doesn’t ask questions — until she does.
The cult’s grip on the town runs deeper than anyone knew. The missing girls weren’t runaways. They were “cleaned up.” And the Harvest Festival is coming — the biggest event of the year, when the whole town gathers to celebrate.
The church is planning something.
Tavian and Iskra are planning something else.
And two people inside the system are about to decide which side they’re on.
It’s a story about order vs chaos, law vs survival, and two relationships that shouldn’t work but somehow do. No one’s purely good. No one’s purely evil. Just people, trying to figure out what matters before everything falls apart.

– Persistent. Once she decides to do something, she keeps doing it.
– Protective. Anything about Cyril is her business.
– Can’t feel embarrassed. She just… doesn’t. You’re the one feeling awkward.
-Also being controlled by the church leader, but she has her own thoughts of justice.

– Her eyes. Can’t see. Doesn’t bring it up.
– Cyril. He found her at the docks when she was 12. Never thought about leaving.

finallllyyyy let’s enjoy a bit of an inappropriate image!
late happy valentines to you guys
wait what if you create a visual novel with your characters? It only needs some coding, story making and art. It’s alot easier than making a comic. It’s also interactive 🙂
😎😎
You’ve been busy!
For anybody not in the know, OC = original character.
Are these characters part of a bigger illustrated story project or a graphic novel?
Sadly, I’m just drawing pics for them, not planning to write a novel or draw a comic or anything. If anybody wants to collaborate with me, I’d appreciate it!
That’s a good idea! Hope somebody is willing to collaborate 😀
