If you are just after ideas, have a look at some of your peers’ writing. There are a few dystopian stories or parts of stories on Mushroom.
Maybe you can contribute to this: https://mushroom-scholars.org/series/?series_name=Sci-Fi+story+project It’s a collaborative project that was initiated but seems to have petered out.
If you are interested in collaborative writing, request a group and you can use the Group Pages for writing.
Regardless whether you write as a group or independently, you can use the ‘series’ function to publish your project posts and group them together so they are easier to find. When I get around to updating the UX, I will foreground the series.
