Your choice (A poem)

If you had a choice
whether or not to be created—
what would you choose?

The world is a brutal scene.
People die of greed.
People die smoking weed—
a slow, grinning death,
killed like a pest.

What would you choose?

The world is exquisite—
a work of pure art.
We’ve got the Bard.
We’ve got the heart.
Oh, what a world to start!

What would you choose?

You see, the world is quite complex:
neither good nor bad,
neither right nor wrong.
Just—
your choice.
