YouAreAnIdiot is a trojan horse created around 2002 for Microsoft Windows. It existed on a website (That I won’t name for obvious safety reasons). When downloaded, the trojan showed a gif/flash animation with a voice singing “You are an idiot hahahah!” and opened mutiple windows with the same gif using a JavaScript function called procreate.
In 2007, a new version was created, disguised as Microsoft Word. When opened, the same gif shows up but this time with rainbow text asking “Are you an idiot?” with 3 options No, I don’t know +[ and Yes I am. Selecting any of these summons a popup saying “Oh… I think you are an idiot. XD”
