The Hibernator Alpha 0.5.3-0.5.X

I will be changing how I post updates on Mushroom because I got a few complaints about too many changelogs 😅 (Sorry about that, daily updates should not equal to daily posts). Please refer to this post for any future 0.5.X updates.

Alpha 0.5.3 (July 9th, 2026):

Alpha 0.5.3 is here with more PDWGS improvements and fixes!

Additions
– Added PDWGS Structure Prioritization (Some Structures placed earlier than others) & Tile Locking (Once a structure is placed, then tiles are un-editable) to fix Cafeterias not guaranteed

Changes
– Changed how I debug the game & How Developer Mode works (I will NOT be going into detail)
– Cafeterias and Pod Rooms are now prioritized and locked

Fixes
– Fixed alertHibernator() fires when no Hibernator exists
– Fixed Alert icon shows when Hibernator is dead
– Fixed Eye alert directly manipulates Hibernator state without checking active
– Fixed Cafeterias not guaranteed
– Fixed Ensure Hallways Connected unbounded loop
– Fixed Inventory slot array length mismatch after respawn with backpack upgrades

 

Alpha 0.5.4 (July 11th, 2026):

Alpha 0.5.4 is here with mainly changes how Advanced Mode works. Unlocking is the same to prevent confusion. I also changed how a certain limit in Infinite Levels mode is bypassed, and one feature that was originally going to be in this update is postponed. (Yes, I know this is vague.)

Additions
– A new trigger is added, to unlock the certain limit
– Added 2 new secret achievements
– Added a toggle to toggling if players want to bypass the limit

Changes
– Separated unlocking Advanced Mode and bypassing a certain limit in Infinite Levels mode
– Advanced Mode now grants some usage of previously private Developer Tools (as cheats) and early in-development experimental features
