Silly Sonnet: Nature

Nightingale singing in a tree,

Gulls fly over a bright blue sea.

Moles and badgers living underground,

Apples for the harvest red and round.

Eagle flies overhead fast and free,

Kitty with a big heart comforts me.

Gardens and orchards the plants will grow,

In the harsh winter the rough wind blows.

Rapids and cascades roar and fall,

The winter frost, elegant yet cruel.

The ancient rock, with never a scar,

The birds sing at dawn from near and far.

Nature’s beauty strikes our hearts,

Nature is the true best art.
