Been a while since I’ve been to Suzhou.
Sure as hell is different from being a nice birth place with nice weather, mountains, and people.
I thought as I warped through my fissure and fell through the sky.
Turns out, being an ESC Informant under cover in the Corp wasn’t a good idea. And The Corp was actually Evil and their way of stopping ether didn’t work.
Spent so much money just to get an expensive ticket of sky-diving with amnesia side-effects.
Suzhou is hella weird.
They have that rare atmosphere composed of Suppressive Beta Ether, not Active Alpha Ether. They look the same from the outside, but if you step inside it doesn’t really consume you or trap you in dark-fog, only downside is you’ll start losing mundane memories and maybe lose your personality if you only had mundane memories, you’ll also get a personality shift when you enter a different body of Beta Ether.
Its said that Suzhou also has Catalyst Delta Ether.
As I sped toward Tai Basin- Not Tai lake, it felt weird seeing bright sunlight shining upon on my face again, it tingled as it fell upon my pale white skin, with the shadow cast by the halos of the Moon Belt moving across.
I’ve spent so much time in Alpha Zones, dark and cold.
I’m going to survive the impact with Suzhou, its submerged now, and the First Ether Resurgence event has made terminal velocity quite slower.
Suzhou, the old one, currently is not actually a land-based region anymore. After the First Ether Resurgence event, average temperature on earth got kicked into code red, Antarctica and The Arctic both melted to just rocks, and almost all coastal cities got submerged by raising water levels.
Suzhou was lucky because of this submergence.
Due to the First Ether Resurgence event, ether started to build up around the geo-stationary orbit, it made escaping earth’s gravitational field harder -now impossible, and also served as a tractor beam that pulled in all kinds of other satellites. Shanghai got hit by an asteroid, luckily, with the water shielding Suzhou, only Shanghai central got destroyed, by the asteroid’s vaporization fire-ball. The shock-waves didn’t destroy Suzhou because of its water shield, and after the First Ether Resurgence, atmospheric pressure around the world increased.
ESC word says that it wasn’t a coincidence that Shanghai got destroyed.
Suzhou was prepared as they already primed their city for submergence, and they swiftly took the rock formations above-water formed by the impact site, and also claimed what was left of shanghai. The municipality went with the central region.
I can feel the Beta ether’s conditional effects already creeping in, I’m starting to feel Im forgetting here.
I’ll say all I can say before the personality shift.
Um… Suzhou also has very good ether science, which was how they built the beacon extending beta ether up to the sky, so the sunlight could shine through and they could try to break past the Geo-stationary orbit suction shell.
Don’t return to The Corp, don’t return, we may had worked their with our best partner, but its not our home.
Suzhou’s Ether Resistance Force is effected by The Corp, do NOT trust it fully.
