Runaway
In a city in Beijing,
The sun had settled for the day,
Itโs golden warmth gone,
Leaving a dark cloudy sky to blanket the ground.
Three boys wandered around
the city where tall buildings loomed over them.
They meandered around the block,
Without any purpose,
Just walking.
They had went
out the school hotel
against the rules.
If they were caught,
They faced
โConsequencesโ.
But it did not matter to them,
For they had not a care in the world.
Just giggling, and laughing.
The sky started a downpour,
Big fat droplets sped down,
Catching the three with it,
We took off on a sprint,
Dashing back towards the hotel,
Each step splashing us
With another serving of water.
Our clothes became soggy,
It was uncomfortable as hell,
So did our shoes,
They squelched with every foot down.
Finally we reached the hotel,
Sighing a sigh of relief.
Cursing the rain and itโs creator.
Those were the good times-
Thatโs all.
Ok so like, this poem is about our recent field trip to Beijing where me and a few other students snuck out of the hotel without permission. Anyways
, I trust yโall to not be tattletales. And if u are a tattletale, itโs too late anyways, school already ended sike.
Also like I was so damn bored on the plane I started writing poems (like 10 hour long plane wth?). I think I wrote like 6 in total.
Fun fact: Some of the teachers use Mushroom. But I think a cool poem outweighs sneaking out :3
