PixelTerrain: Web Edition (Demo) Released

I just released PixelTerrain: Web Edition (Demo) on itch.io! Play it here! (PixelTerrain: Web Edition (Demo) by wimpycat01)

Disclaimer: This is just a Demo version. There is only a small number of features in it. This script will save the world and do nothing else. Please ignore the bad quality of the textures. Please submit bugs and feedback using Mushroom’s comment system instead of using the email at the site. Thank you!

Also, the reason I’m using solid colors is because I don’t want it actually taking data from elsewhere. You can use A & D for movement along with the arrow keys.

  1. I was playing and I’ve found something interesting. If you place a block one block above yourself and one block in either horizontal direction and jump and move at the same time, you will move two blocks up! I don’t know if this is intentional or something, but it certainly has made mining much more easier. There is also a glitch that if you fall, you might chip into the ground?! Anyhow, this game is amazing.

    • Thank you! :), and thanks for reporting!

Anyway, here’s some bugs picklez_the_cat reported:

      – player glitching through blocks at high velocity
      – inventory gets saved while new world
      – Auto Jump doesn’t work
      – the player will go on top of the block if jumping if the block is beyond jump height

      I’m working on a bugfix now! 🙂

  2. Nice! I can create and remove blocks within a certain distance of the player and move the player left and right, or down by removing the block below. The block selection worked well and I like the glittery blocks.

Sorry I still haven’t got the coder uploader working on Mushroom so you can share your work directly. It will happen…maybe when the summatives are out of the way.
