My reflection blog post

I feel like i performed okay in the seminar.

Problem was that I didn’t get any highs. Most of my points did not include in depth evaluation & comparison of other people’s points or other quotes.

For example one of my points is relating to the “All roads led to Rome” quote, my point was that, even if life is destined to end in death which seems to void all value we have created, what creates value is walking other paths that other people have not walked before. But the problem was that conveyed my point first then referenced the quote, and after conveying my point, i just sort of slapped on the “All roads led to Rome” quote without any explanation, which resulted me being close to a high, but missing it in the end.

However, i do think that we need some changes to low, medium, high criteria.

I think we need two more variables we need to account for :
1. Engagement created (How many have built off this point?)

2. Analysis(Not just evaluating and comparing, just deep analysis into the topic or evidence material)

On the quality of our Leaders’ leading of the seminar I have some but not lot to say

-Runlin and Nickolas are mostly mute

-Grace kept calling names out of previously called out orders.

-Grace didn’t account for hands blocked by heads in front.

-Grace sometimes called on people that didn’t raise hands WHILE the raised-hand order isn’t finished.

Some clarification on some of points:

-All lives lead to death, while it might render most physical value void, it doesn’t render monumental value void. Even if astronauts are meant to die in the end, that doesn’t make USA’s lunar landing obsolete.

-Imaginary travels in dreams are also valid, because it brings content from the subconsciousness to the consciousness, where it can be actually used to create value.

-Its easier to continue travel than stop in longer travels, because of the Sunken Cost Fallacy’s effects building up with more effort put in to travel and also the overcoming of initial hardships to get used to the travel. While in shorter travels, Sunken Cost Fallacy’s effects are week and its easy to return back to the starting point, or to ignore the distance voided.
