- Because it is perfect. They were basically made as almost opposites as each other as, as we know, Ralsei has too much empathy while Kris, being controlled by us, seems very apathetic. They can learn from each other. This is made apparent in multiple instances for instance, in Chapter 4, where we control Kris to tell Ralsei “its ok not to smile” and without our control, Kris hugs him. Meanwhile when we choose the latter more rude choice, they bite their lip, not allowing themself to say it. This also shows that Kris genuinely cares for Ralsei. Ralsei treats Kris with kindness even if he knows they work with the knight and even in shown worshiping them in the first chapter blushing around them if you stand next to him for 20 seconds too long.
