Jesus was betrayed and arrested. Leaders sentenced him to death, so he was nailed to a cross and passed away. His body was placed in a locked tomb.
On the third day, his followers went to the tomb and found it empty. Jesus appeared to them, alive again. This miracle gives believers hope for eternal life.
