Fun facts about shakespeare

Here are two fun facts about William Shakespeare:

1.  He invented a lot of common words. If you’ve ever felt “lonely,” been in a “battle,”  you’ve used words Shakespeare coined. He had a habit of turning nouns into verbs, verbs into adjectives, and stringing together compound words, creating hundreds of new terms that we still use

2.Shakespeare never published any of his own plays. He considered them to be scripts for performance, not literary works for readers. It was only seven years after his death that two of his fellow actors published the First Folio, a collection of 36 of his plays. Without this book, masterpieces like Macbeth, Julius Caesar, and The Tempest would have likely been lost forever.
