Hey guys, what are your favorite sci fi books?
I mean for me, it’s definetly dune because of it’s amazing world building and political depth. And also because the book has aged so well and maintained it’s relevancy, like it was published in 1965!

A highly influential book that was the inspiration for many of the famous sci-fi epics created since π
I think my favourite sci-fi book might be Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy but Mr Finch’s recommendation is also very strong contender π
But for movies, there are lots I could choose. I love sci-fi films.
Probably “Back to the Future” or “Star Wars” for me. Still watchable after all this time.
Star Wars – the original one now referred to as A New Hope – is my favourite film. Back to the Future also very good π
I also like The Matrix and 12 Monkeys, but again, movies rather than books.
For books I like the Red Dwarf (Grant/Naylor) comedy things. Also 1984. A little bit of a reach but “Z for Zachariah”
Definitely “Brave New World by Aldous Huxley”, my first peak into a dystopian society.
