Egypt’s Pharaoh enslaved the Israelites and ordered all their baby boys killed. Moses’ mom hid him in a basket on the Nile; Pharaoh’s daughter found and raised him. Later, Moses heard God’s call from a burning bush, went back to Egypt, and God sent ten plagues to force Pharaoh to let the Israelites go. Moses then led his people to freedom.
