Poem: The Dawn before the Storm I am Waiting for

The Dawn before the Storm I am Waiting for

The meadows I left behind

The defiles I gone through

Tenebrous the sky was in my slumbers

Perforce must the journey be grimly droll,

And the Dawn before the Storm I am still waiting for.

The Dawn before the Storm I am Waiting for

The seraphic mountains I saw

The vagrant apparitions that lingered

Insipid the gaunt gloaming on the briny abyss was

But to and fro in my dreams, the undergrowth has covered the latter lanes

And the Dawn before the Storm I am still waiting for.

The Dawn before the Storm I am Waiting for

The pulchritudinous haze wreathed the hills

The barren soil and the frigid wind

Pallid the clouds were

Once I passed the ensemble of those beneath

And the Dawn before the Storm I am still waiting for.

A traveler had demised

With rue

In the dingy hue.

Once he passed the ensemble of those beneath

And the Dawn before the Storm he is still waiting for.

And the Dawn before the Storm I am still waiting for.

And the Dawn before the Storm he was still waiting for.

And the Dawn before the Storm I…

…still waiting for.
