THE TROJAN WAR:

The Trojan Horse is a famous story from Greek mythology, part of the Trojan War. For ten long years, the Greek army tried to capture the city of Troy but failed every time. Then, the clever Greek hero Odysseus had a brilliant plan.

The Greeks built a huge wooden horse and hid their best soldiers inside it. They pretended to sail away, leaving the horse as a “gift” for Troy. The Trojans, thinking they had won the war, pulled the big horse into their city with joy.

That night, when the Trojans were fast asleep, the Greek soldiers climbed out of the horse. They opened the city gates, and the Greek army came back quietly. The Greeks captured Troy easily, and the long war finally ended.

The Trojan Horse story tells us that cleverness and careful thinking can win a battle, and we should never be too careless to trust strangers easily.
