Story Arc for the 67 Kid’s Leader–Mason

CHARACTER INTRODUCTION

Mason, the leader of the 67 gang, is a hollow and terrifying figure who has completely lost his own personality. He is incapable of saying anything except the number “67,” using it as his only means of communication. He doesn’t lead through clever plans, but by being a pure symbol of his gang’s bitter jealousy. His entire existence is focused on one goal: to destroy the people living safely in the Metro lands, simply because he and his followers are consumed with envy and want to tear down what they can never have.

He also has problems with the dwarves, who apparently has some very valuable natural resources like mushroom and he also wants to steal it.

BASIC STORY ARC

The Setting:
The Metro People live safely in a bright, prosperous land of green tunnels and clean air.
The Dwarves are a strong, isolated group of people who guard vast caverns of precious glowing mushrooms.
Mason’s 67 Gang and the 67 Mermaids live in the clan of 67 and the river that connects yoshi and double chin land. They have nothing and are consumed with jealousy.

The Attack:
Mason, their hollow leader, can only communicate with a single, snarled word: “67.” It is a command of pure envy. He leads his followers out of the darkness and launches a two-pronged invasion.
The Gang smashes its way into the peaceful tunnels of the Metro People, not to conquer, but to ruin the beauty. At the same time, the Mermaids surge into the Dwarves’ territory, not just to steal mushrooms, but to poison and defile the groves.

A Losing Battle:
The Metro People are peaceful and are easily overwhelmed by the Gang’s savage fury. The Dwarves are mighty warriors, but they are caught off guard by the Mermaids’ underwater attacks and the Gang’s sheer recklessness. Both groups are losing.

The Meeting:
A brave Metro Scout (Character 1) and a proud Dwarf Warrior (Enemy 1) meet after a chaotic battle. They realize they are fighting the same enemy, and that this enemy has no logic or demand—only a desire to destroy. They convince their leaders that survival depends on working together.

Fighting Back:
Using the Metro Scout’s knowledge of all the tunnels and the Dwarf Warrior’s strength and knowledge of explosives, they set a trap. They lure a large part of the 67 Gang into a narrow cavern. The Dwarves cause a cave-in to block their retreat, while the Metro People use bright lights and loud noises to confuse them, capturing many of the attackers.

Act III: Confronting the Heart of Envy

A Desperate Move:
While the trap is successful, Mason himself is not there. He and his most loyal Mermaids have slipped past their defenses. They are heading for the most sacred place of the Dwarves: the Great Mushroom Mother, the source of all their fungal resources.

The Final Stand:
Character 1 and Enemy 2 race to the inner chamber and find Mason. He isn’t there to harvest the giant, glowing mushroom. He is raising a weapon to destroy it.
They don’t attack him. Instead, Enemy 2 slams his axe on a resonant crystal, creating a deafening echo that sounds like a giant “67!” The noise makes Mason freeze. In that moment, Character 1 speaks to him: “You have nothing because you choose to destroy. We can show you how to build.”

The End:
The words mean nothing to Mason, but the offer of something other than hatred creates a crack in his hollow shell. He lowers his weapon, silent and confused. His followers, seeing their symbol broken, lose their will to fight. The Mermaids retreat into the dark waters. The war is over.

The Metro People and the Dwarves, bound by their shared victory, agree to a new friendship. Mason is imprisoned, a silent reminder of the danger of envy.
