Shut up Eddie

So I’m sure y’all know about personality types right?

Well I think it’s stupid, and apparently the president of the milky way thinks so too.

Essentially, in the book ELL is currently studying (Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy), theres a “cheerfull” robot that says “Hey i’m at your service! If you’d like, I can tell you your personality accurate to 10 decimal places” The president then promptly says “Shut up” (at least in my version of the book).  Now some may say that this is just because the president doesn’t want to hear the robot yap around, which is true. However, I believe that it’s also a tiny detail the author slipped in about rejecting determinism and categorizing people into one dimensional characteristics (the ten decimal number). For example, the author could have made the robot say any number of stupid comments, but instead he wrote this. This also kinda connects to the main concept of absurdism because absurdisim kinda rejects determinism. Like not saying determinism is wrong, but rather that it doesn’t matter because we still feel and get meaning, which is essentially why the author is rejecting the personality number. (I think????? correct me if i’m wrong).

Conclusion: Someone agrees with me, and I wasted 20 frickin minutes on a blog no one except the teachers will see(no offense).

Conclusion 2: If someone asks you whats your personality, say: “my personality is I-D-G-A F (I don’t give a f***)”
