In this seminar, we mainly discussed elements a good blog includes.
This seminar led by Kitty and Vinci was quite unique from the other ones, the main impact to this was their style. Different than the past few seminars which only had questions on their PPT, this one involved comparison between text or pictures. I personally prefer this style because it often urges people to debate, not only does this help our scores, it also improves our analysing ability in order to produce convincing statements.
As mentioned before, this seminar often sets people to debates against their preferments, however I am not someone who stands firm on my opinions, I would usually tend to the side with more supporters. This time, when I found myself on the other side, I did not just shut up so easily, that was when I eventually discovered that defending my personal perpective is not as difficult as I imagined (I still hold on to them now:).
Yep, I agree. As I commented on Mingze X’s post, I’ve seen this technique used to good effect before (even in a couple of our early seminars last year). I think providing the session’s members with specific examples to discuss really helps to get everybody engaged.
However, what’s with the title for this blog post? Aren’t you going to apply some of the principles we discussed in the seminar to your own blog writing?
