So I thought of this interesting question, its like this:
Theres a random wheel of destiny with a 2 outcomes,
The first outcome is: you die. (probability of first outcome is 1%)
The second outcome is you live, and get rewarded 1 billion dollars. So in other words do you risk a 1% chance of dying for 1 billion dollars.
Do you spin the wheel?
[MONEY!!] IS [MONEY!]!!! NOW GIMME THOSE YUMMY [Kroner]
Interesting question! I guess it’d depend on personal circumstances. Would less financially secure people be more likely to take the risk? Perhaps people with dependents might be less likely to take the risk? Or more?
Agreed. For example, Elon Musk probably wouldn’t spin the wheel, but a random person who is in desperate need of money or has nothing he/she is attached to might do so.
My answer is no, what about you guys?
