This book, unlike the first book, will be science fiction. Set in a different (fictional)system in the same galaxy as us. There are three main types of aliens living there:
Blobwobs. Generally kind and caring. They shape-shift easily, and are always slightly translucent and wet-looking. They have unique patterns on their cheeks. (I’ll let Monty the Agreeable Tiger Moth elaborate on that, since Blobwobs are her idea.)
Jobbles. Also Monty the Agreeable Tiger Moth’s idea. Looks vaguely like a cartoony baby with a jellyfish as a hat with a tail that splits in two at the end (like an espeon from Pokémon). The Jobble uses its jellyfish-like tentacles as arms/hands and uses its real hands mostly for gestures as it has no fingers.
Squiddles. They come in two variants. One variant looks like a really fat octopus and the other variant is humanoid, tentacle-like limbs, a tail that looks like three short tentacles and tentacles coming out of its head that look like hair. They’re the bad guys. They capture other aliens and force them into slavery. They rarely take kids as kids can’t work as efficiently as adults.
All these types of aliens have perfected a portable wormhole technology, enabling them to place a wormhole in front of them, go through it and almost instantly travel any distance away, then once they are out of the wormhole pick it up so the energy can be reused. Because of this their spaceships don’t need much fuel, they just need a storage area for the portable wormhole drive and only need a small amount of fuel for takeoff and landing. This means their spaceships can have more space for luxury. (And in the Squiddles’s case, prisoners.)
All of these aliens are more technologically advanced than us. They also have good cloning technology, and genetic engineering technology.
