Dreamtime Myths (Australlia)
–The Rainbow Serpent
This story is about how to world was created and the creation of life. This myth starts off with the world being dry, flat and no signs of any life. Like a big rock. But then, Goorialla ( the Rainbow Serpent) was woken up from his nap, travelled along Australlia looking for his tribe. But he couldn’t find them. But he realized that his long body created gounges on the earth. So he called the frogs to hop on out and he tickled their bodies until water came out. The water flowed into the gounges creating river, streams, and soon, life. He created a set of rules, and those who followed became human, and those who didn’t became stone. Then, when no one followed his rules, he turned everything to stone, reversing everything that he did…
This is related to sustainablity because the Rainbow Serpent created everything. Life, plants, water, everything. This is related to sustainability because the world was a dry wasteland before he came so he made life, water, plants, etc, to make the world more sustainable.

Jianing: its………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..ok. but you should describe more about how this myth can connect to sustainability.
I agree with Jianing – more connections to sustainability would be nice. More details.
