Have you read Enchantia: legends and tales of good and bad? Well if not, you should. Otherwise you won’t know how to join in with Enchantia II, will you?
Enchantia II is designed to be a chance for everyone who uses 🍄 to work together, unleash their creativity and have fun. Plus improving the overall story of Enchantia.
The basic premise: a few characters from Enchantia are going to a new continent/island (which will be created by everyone joining this project) and a new story will take place mostly in this new setting.
Based on the process of making Enchantia I, I have designed a process of creating Enchantia II:
1. Create and share characters.
2. Split into groups and design different areas of the new map in groups.
3. Piece a story together (we might not do character arcs this time, in Enchantia I we got a bit too focused on our character arc).
4. Decide who should write which chapter/chapters.
5. Write Enchantia II.
6. Edit, proofread, make sure the transitions between chapters aren’t too sudden, generally make it better, etc.
7. Add illustrations and cover.
That’s about it. Since we don’t get scores on this, it’s a bit more free than Enchantia I. Of course there are rules.
1. Keep other people’s ideas in mind when you develop your own.
2. The story has to fit together better than Enchantia I. Probably not difficult to achieve.
3. No more than 3 characters per person. One should be emphasized much more than the others.
4. All ideas are equal.
5. Don’t make your character kill everyone else’s characters or anything like that. Be relatively nice and respectful.
6. DON’T BE INAPPROPRIATE.
If we encounter any problems I may add more rules. You should be able to judge what you should not do without any rules. Remember the aim: create a fun story for all.

Basically, I reworded my Dork the Orc thing so it could be used within a bigger story arc without interrupting it too much. I felt that was a problem in the original Enchantia where lots of chapters were introducing a character but didn’t necessarily connect with anything else that was going on so the ‘then they joined the organisation’ at the end of each character introduction felt a bit like it was just tacked on the end.
Oh, and talking of things just tacked on at the end, here’s a reminder of my gormless character’s appearance:

Then we might need to write an Enchantia III
No no no make there be rebellion and kill Madame Crow and everything. Or we could make druggy mouse rebirth! DESTRUCTION! END OF THE WORLD! RAGNAROK!
Mary might object to that. She might not want you to murder her character.
