Session 3: Capturing Motion

In this third session, we will continue to apply the basics of drawing shapes that we started in the previous session, but the difference this time is that those shapes will be moving!

You’ll need to find some people to draw, perhaps the local park would be a good place for this session. Alternatively, you could opt for drawing animals like we did and visit the zoo.

Grab a pencil, open your sketchbook and practice breaking down the figures you are drawing into simple lines and shapes, ensuring the correct proportions. This exercise forces you to be quick, so don’t worry too much about the finer details 🙂
