Why? You might wonder, did policemen in Europe arrest Greta Thunberg? The thing is, her actions was problematic. No wonder an activist like her was often incarcerated—she has a particular appetite for troubles.
To begin with, she is neurotic and problematic. She wouldn’t have launched a tirade against the poor, awkward politicians if she were a normal one. People with their last sense will never admire a poseur like this ‘HOW DARE YOU’ girl. My opinion is, if you cannot act like a sober-minded teenager, you have to go and appoint somebody who can teach you somthing.
She cannot take any viable actions. Deuce knows what she did in the past few years—putting up obstacles on the roads, arranging demonstrations, conversing with that ‘smart’ Justin Trudeau in 2019… Her campaigns are disconcerting; I can’t imagine the day of her inauguration as the Green Party’s head.
It is preposterous to believe that she was undeterred by the authority. She is a poseur, as aforementioned. She is not a condescending philanthropist. Nevertheless, she has attracted millions of gullible supporters all over the world. it is the United Nation that commends her projects and campaigns.
You might say I wrote a pejorative critique; honestly speaking, I was one of her million fans before I left OCAC. The time came when I realized her escapades and irascibility. You can ask your teachers to show her ridicule and fervent importuning of the politicians’ bottom lines.
Well, don’t hold back!
I feel obliged to point out that, from an academic perspective, you should try to keep your writing less emotional and less personal and focus more on actual arguments. It would have greater impact that way. For example, can you analyse what exactly in her speeches reminds you of ‘hysteric patients with severe psychological disorders’ (which likely encompasses a very wide range of features)? Also, what is ‘silly’ about the road obstacles and why is arranging demonstrations ‘disconcerting’?
You have also helpfully provided a claim that serves as a very good reminder of the importance of proper referencing and citation – can you give us a link to the evidence that the ‘United Nation[s]…commends her ludicrous campaigns’?
Be warned that without proper argument and evidence, your work may come across as a right-wing rant. It’s nice to have something controversial and emotive to discuss though, so thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks sir.
Thunberg, as many reports revealed in the last decade, was diagnosed with Asperger Syndromes and at least 2 other disorders. Nevertheless, the UN seems to ignore this. Many of Thunberg’s public speakings are equivocal and null, as experts pointed out.
Thanks for pointing this out, but it really besets me whether the UN and the general public having no idea of the ‘who’ talking in front of the podiums. Admittedly, my tone in this blog is pejorative. However, I also have to point out that the UN needs people who can really come up with feasible and less unrealistic solutions. In one of the many speeches made by Thunberg, she denounced the Chinese people for using chopsticks to eat. Urging us to quit using chopsticks, she even argued that the Chinese should use forks and knives (I did several researches based on this). I was suspicious of her true intent, and my postulation is, she was aligning with some media in Europe, America, Canada, and Australia. Anyway, I decide to keep this blog until I make the final decision.
(She did set up road obstacles, but that road obstacles are causing traffic congestions, whereas her demonstrations are illicit in many countries)
Nice rejoinder! I wonder what the thing about the chopsticks was about. I would have thought that construction of knives and forks would require more resources than chopsticks because of their more complex shapes and wider surface area. Is there any more to that story?
Thanks a lot! There is another story to that incident, that is many private and institutions backpedaled on writing coverages about her because of this. But one observation suggested that many didn’t even care.
