My recent travel was to a zoo with my family. At first I didn’t want to go since I definitely did not want to spend a perfectly good weekend in the sun getting squished by hundreds of people, just to see a zebra or something. But I still went unwillingly and was very surprised
When we first entered the place it looked very touristy though there weren’t many people and pretty childish so I wasn’t expecting any exotic animals. But as we walked further in, the roads started to split each with signs that read “carnivores”, “bird section”, “herbivores”, “reptiles” …each leading to a different section. and soon i realized the park was huge on the inside. There were like 20 different species of tiger alone, and a lot of birds and herbivores. You would expect the animals to be lying like 10 meters away from you sleeping like in every other , but no these animals were as close as they could get. My face was literally not even a meter away from a tiger, the flamingo’s were so close you could touch them and

the elephant’s nose actually blew water at someone. The whole place took a whole day to walk through and the tickets were only half off for students with very little people. So it was definitely worth it.(although on holidays it probably be different)

I know this sounds very fake but that is why I’m sharing it, it was honestly very unreal to myself too so I think trying new things and not just sticking to what you know can lead you to discover new and exiting things.
Your own personal emotional engagement is clear in this post – good 👍
I like the photos. It’s a local zoo, right? I think I’ve been there a few times.
Check the number of times you use ‘like’ as a filler in the middle of your second paragraph 😉
I do really like the beginning of this blog, cause this is the exact I feel when I go to zoos, expecting it to be boring, and seeing people instead of animals (Although humans are also animals). But along with that, I hope you could exaggerate or specify the view of someone sprayed by an elephant. I think that would be fun and funny to look at and make this blog have a main story to attract other readers and remember some things in this blog. The ending is a little awkard, but it is clear that you really do like this zoo. So overall, this is a great blog! And most importantly, where is this zoo 😄 🥺
Helpful feedback 😀
I was thinking the same thing about the elephant incident. That must have been amusing so more details would be engaging.
