Another Gator Artwork

This art was inspired by an old pizza delivery box that I used to protect the floor during a previous painting project. Since the bulk of the pigment that had bled onto the box was GREEN, I thought it might make a nice background for a GREEN GATORS artwork. Twenty minutes later, the crudely sketched painting was complete. I left it to dry overnight before tidying it up with acrylic paint pens.

Here’s the result:

It takes me back to my early career as an artist painting in the pubs of southern England, except that this cartoon ‘gator isn’t quaffing a branded alcoholic beverage 🍄
