Apologies for the desperately slow speed of Mushroom over the last few days.
On investigation, I discovered it was due to the new @ notifications function which was querying too inefficiently. I have therefore removed the @ notifications function until I have time to (a) fix the query (relatively easy) and (b) align the javascript browser display with the new efficient query (troublesome).
The @ notifications system should be back in place towards the end of June.
Ok, I have finally had time to get to the bottom of this and have discovered the problem was a double whammy of a heavy database search in two functions combined with an unfortunately timed intense bot attack 🤬🤬
Let’s hope the latest fix actually fixes the lag 🙏🤞
I think it is now fixed (not the @mentions but the slow speed and timeouts).
Please do let me know if the slow speed and timeout menace persists.
