One row task bar/ title bar(whatever is the bar on top)
Less round stuff.
Also less shadows and flashy effects.
Use only 3 shades of blue for the website.
Maybe you can add a hashtag feature
+ a reccomended channel.
E.G people could hashtag what topic their posts are about, and if you frequently read posts with those types of hashtags, you get reccomened those posts.
(not sure if applicable here tho cuz of the relatively small user base)
