WORLD’S BEST FANTASY STORY–My Tornado Adventure on Sparkle Star (BY TANK)

My Tornado Adventure on Sparkle Star

It all started when I hated fantasy books. I hated fantasy books so much that

I ripped and crumpled almost a hundred of them in one year. One normal school day,I was reading a boring nonfiction book about alligators, which in my words”was cool and interesting,” I heard a whisper of a creature. Then, the world startedspinning, and a huge tornado swirled me…

I screamed as it spun me around, and then—whoosh—I crashed onto a weird, glowing star called Sparkle Star.

Sparkle Star had two kingdoms. First, there was Sunshine Village: their houses were made of rainbow glass, and they had a priceless Golden Sunstone that kept their village warm and bright. Then there was Misty Marsh: a gloomy place where the people wore foggy cloaks, and they were always grumpy because their village was cold.

Right when I landed, the tornado wasn’t done! It zoomed over Sunshine Village, snatched the Golden Sunstone, and blew it straight into Misty Marsh! The Sunshine Villagers panicked. “Oh no! Without the Sunstone, we’ll freeze!” cried Mayor Lily, wringing her hands.

The Misty Marsh people found the Sunstone and grinned. “Now we get to be warm!” shouted their leader, Grumpy Gus. They hid it in their marshy cave, guarded by a squawking fog-bird.

I knew I had to fix this. Mayor Lily gave me a sparkly lasso, and my new friend, a fluffy star-bunny named Floof, helped me sneak into Misty Marsh. We tiptoed past the fog-bird, grabbed the Sunstone, and ran—just as Grumpy Gus and his crew chased us!

Floof hopped ahead, leaving sparkly trails that tripped the Marsh people. I swung the lasso, looping it around the Sunstone to hold it tight, and sprinted back to Sunshine Village. When we put the Sunstone back on its pedestal, the village lit up again, warm and bright!

Grumpy Gus huffed, but even he smiled a little. “Fine, you can keep it… but next time, share the warmth!”

Later, another tornado came to take me home. I waved goodbye to Floof and Mayor Lily, proud I’d fixed the mess the tornado made.

Now, I love fantasy books. Because I know that sometimes, if you’re lucky, the best stories aren’t just in the books—they’re waiting for you to live them. And whenever I see a picture of a tornado, I don’t feel scared. I just smile, because it reminds me of the day I became a hero and found the magic in stories again.

A Note From the Author

Hey there,

So, this story was a lot of fun to write. It’s about me who hates fantasy, gets swept into a wild adventure, and comes out a hero.

But you know, after thinking about it, I realized the ending I wrote isn’t quite the whole truth. The main character says they love fantasy books now, but that feels a little too neat. The real feeling is more… complicated.

The truth is, I don’t love fantasy books, but I don’t hate them anymore either. That whole adventure on Sparkle Star didn’t turn me into a superfan. It just showed me that magic and weird glowing bunnies aren’t only for pages in a book. They can feel real, if you let them.

So now, when I see a fantasy book, I don’t feel that anger anymore. I just feel… okay about them. They’re like postcards from a place I’ve actually visited. I might not want to live there, but it’s nice to know it exists.

Maybe that’s the real magic—not changing what you like, but learning that it’s okay for your feelings to be somewhere in the middle.😀

Thanks for reading and look out for my next post!
