Weird summer school food

I don’t really remember what I ate, but In fact, some of the food in the restaurants was great! But all I remember is this random burrito ha-ha

I went to the United States in the summer vacation from Grade 7 to Grade 8. I had never been to the United States, Britain or Canada before… Places like that. It’s funny, it’s really different from China. I attended a middle school summer school for two weeks and made many friends from other countries. Their topics are not the same, they like sports are not the same as us, there are not many people playing basketball, mainly playing a kind of hand-thrown ball (feel quite difficult, similar to volleyball?).

The difference I was most impressed with was the school lunch. Summer school finishes early. School usually ends after two o ‘clock, so we tend to have a very simple lunch because everyone goes home and eats lunch again. That’s a little different from where I’m staying.
I’ve seen tomato bisque with dough in it (completely solid dough, no taste at all!). And bread that I couldn’t chew and peanut butter that stuck to my tongue. lol. Sometimes it’s no bigger than a salad in a cup the size of your hand. At first I thought it was not enough to eat, but later I found out that it was because the school day in the United States was very early. School usually ends after two o ‘clock, so we tend to have a very simple lunch because everyone goes home and eats lunch again. It’s a snack.
That’s a little different from where I’m staying.
The next day I came to school, my classmates and I said, this school lunch is really great!
I’m belike: Maybe this is travel, everyone has a different taste hahaha.

On the last day of summer school, we don’t have any more classes, and lunch can be bought outside at the dining car. The burritos there are really bad to the state of hahaha, hard to bite cake stuffed with a lot of sweet, salty and bitter things, like pickles, scallions and pieces of meat. The scallions and the pie were very strong, and they were paired with a very spicy sauce. And the same spices that we had in an Indian restaurant. Maybe Mexican food has this spice in it? This also means that the pie is authentic

It’s also super hot! So I took a few bites and threw it away (sorry). The picture below is not very clear, that is I took a picture after eating a bite speechless. That’s with Alice:)
