Trip to Hangzhou

This was a special day! The school was surrounding with the happy atmosphere, students were chatting and playing, sharing their snacks and playing with their phone, taking their big baggage.  We were going out to Hangzhou! The goal for us was to found out the tea cultures by doing activities about it, and do exercise which is simply just walk around 7 kilometers.

On the bus, students were all feeling grateful, it’s the first time planning out to a far place like Hangzhou, students were imagining about the day that would be looking like in their dorm, planning for the activities at night. Time flies, two hours quickly disappeared as we arrived in Hangzhou. The weather was perfect, with clear blue skies and a gentle breeze. We all got off the bus and gathered in front of the West river wetland.

The environment was great! There were fresh grasses and I can smell the scent of flowers, the ponds were clear and I could see the fish swimming between the small rocks, life was all feeling with strength and happiness. After walking for a few hours, the nice first day was end. From our expressions, we could see that we were tired and had lost the spirit of the morning, Back at the dorms, we gathered together for a night of games . We played for a long time till 1am . It was a perfect end to a memorable day.

The second day in Hangzhou, we wake up early in the morning and eat the simple breakfast, that may be the worst breakfast I’ve ever tasted before though it’s nutritious.  After the breakfast, we went on the trip to the tea hill.  The activity today is to collect tea leaves, each one wearing an ugly dress and a uncomfortable straw hat. We all got one little basket to go work in the hill. It’s interesting at first, but after a few minutes, it seems that it’s actually very boring, We learned about how to cook tea leaves, and how to make one tea. It’s one very valuable day, we learned a lot and still very tired too. Back in the dorm, we have one fun night and go to bed.

Time came for the last night here, today, we have no activities but just walking. It’s boring but we had a good time with friends. These days I understand many things about tea cultures, and I exercise myself and improve myself, the most important thing I learned is that never complain about school, because there’s one thing worse, SA.
