See I find that part acceptable because it is explained. Some explanation of how the earth may take it’s time to be swallowed and how the spaceship escapes is required.

Oh, yea, but I think the more unrealistic part is the creation of a black hole under typical earth conditions. A supernova does not just happen when hydrogen is compressed….

That was my point if the earth is hovering around a black hole it would probably be swallowed post haste. The ship would need to be travelling faster than the speed of light to escape.

The first is “2012” a movie thats about earth about to get flooded completely. And only the people with power and connections can survive by boarding an expensive ship (Kinda like noah the ark capitalist version). And it also reminds me of “The wandering earth”, where people have to spin a lottery for places in the underground bunkers (Communist edition). But anyways, both very good pieces of dystopian “literature???? (movies”. I feel like you could have gone a bit more in depth about how only powerful people could survive, giving the story a darker turn, while also highlighting some of the present issues of these people with vast power.
