I never thought I would be killed by a bottle of water…until I met this.
That day, humans finally remembered the horror of it…
The story began on a wonderful day in 2017. I was just a little childish girl who loved to wear dresses. My parents and I went on a trip to Shandong Qingdao. I loved the sea scenery so I was very excited about the trip.
When you come to a new place, enjoy the scenery and try the traditional food. After finishing our visit to the sand beach, an uncle who was my parents’ college mate took us to a featured restaurant for dinner.
In that restaurant, we ate some sea creatures such as trepang, strange fish (I forget what kind), and seafood porridge (which I liked most ^-^). Actually, I can’t bear fishy smells but those things were quite nice..
Originally, everything will be ok…and I’ll still happy. But, people can’t endure their curiously at most of time. Sometime it’s good, but sometime it’s suck. So, em, i was suck 🙁
I’m a person loved to planing(definitely), so I searched some food of Qingdao before, and there’s a water with odd name and uncommon packing——
and I was like:
And when I see this thing during dinner, my curiosity is about to burst through my body and escape to kill someone…
I did not hesitate, and told my mother, ‘I want to drink this!!!’ because Laoshan white flower snake grass water is like some ambrosia made with dew on the morning flowers and the essence of the grasses. In some Chinese ancient god teleplays, the people who are dying can come back to life after drinking this.
So, I drank it with full expectation. How to describe it? emmm, It tastes like a bottle of soda with two drops of spirit, and some Sprite in it, a bamboo in it, a dead fish and a spoon of salt in it.
I just drank a few sips, and gave it to my mom, and my mom said ‘ewwwwwww’ and gave it to my dad, and my dad showed a complicated face.
We can’t really accept it on taste. (ꈍ ~ ꈍ) I only like sweet and sour or light drinks (such as juice and tea).
Now I know that, what its name come from is a grass called Oldenlandia diffusa, and this grass has odd taste, so it affect the water.
It has the effect of clearing heat and detoxifying, relieving pain and clearing knot, diuresis and dehumidification. Making tea in summer is refreshing (maybe 🙁
Now, i’m grow up, so i can try more odd things with firm willpower. Maybe some day I’ll meet this poison water again, but… I don’t want to 🙁 🙁 🙁
I lived in Qingdao for a few years and I’ve never tried it. I’ll have to go back there some time!
You have made a marked improvement in your language use in this blog post – well done!
These sentences are a bit odd: “But, people can’t endure their curiously at most of time. Sometime it’s good, but sometime it’s suck. So, em, i was suck” and you spelled “planning” wrong.
Thereafter, your language becomes engaging – describing why you wanted to try it, describing the flavour and describing family members’ reactions all very effectively 🙂
