Seminar 3 Reflection

At this seminar, although I didn’t say much, I deeply reflected on my experiences in junior high school in my heart. I looked back on that green and challenging time, pondered on the gains, losses, and growth. I reflect on my academic efforts and shortcomings, as well as the small details in interacting with classmates and teachers. This experience not only shaped my personality, but also made me more clear about my goals and direction.

The changes I have experienced in my middle school years:
About behaviors, hen I was in elementary school, I always stayed quiet in class, but now I bravely step forward, actively participate in classroom discussions, and enjoy sharing my insights in front of my classmates. I remember in my Chinese class, I expressed unique insights on ancient poetry, which received praise from my teacher.
In terms of experience, middle school life laid a broader stage for me, exposing me to unprecedented challenges and opportunities. I once served as the leader of the hiking exploration and Chinese IDU group, which was a huge test of my leadership ability. From obeying orders in the past to leading the team today, I deeply feel the importance of responsibility, and my investment in tasks is also increasing. This experience not only honed my leadership skills, but also taught me to take on responsibilities.
In terms of attitude: I gradually abandoned a negative learning attitude and replaced it with positivity. I deeply realize the importance of learning, I no longer passively waiting for knowledge to be imparted, but actively exploring, absorbing, and innovating. This change in attitude has enabled me to make greater progress in my studies.
In terms of skills, studying in junior high school has enabled me to acquire richer knowledge and skills. I have not only gained a deeper understanding of subject knowledge, but also learned to efficiently utilize computer and online resources for learning. In addition, I have learned how to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, as well as maintain a calm and problem-solving attitude when facing disputes. These skills will have a profound impact on my future learning and life.
About friend, during my middle school years, my social circle has also undergone significant changes. I have made many like-minded friends who are in the same class as me. We learn, grow, and share joys and sorrows together. They have given me a deeper understanding of the meaning and value of friendship.

I think my greatest achievement is to be a leader of a tean. I was the leader of the hiking exploration and Chinese IDU group, which was a huge test of my leadership ability. From obeying orders in the past to leading the team today, I deeply feel the importance of responsibility, and my investment in tasks is also increasing. This experience not only honed my leadership, but also taught me to take on responsibilities.

I will miss the past few years in junior high school, where I spent joyful moments with my classmates. The free running on the playground, the intense discussions in the classroom, and the playful antics during breaks, all of these have become the most precious memories of my junior high school life. We spent many unforgettable days together.

  1. This is a very thorough personal reflection of your middle school journey. It is such a pity you didn’t contribute to the seminar discussion as some of this would have undoubtedly prompted other students to share their ideas a bit more deeply too.

It’s good to hear you took a position as a leader. I hope that helps boost your confidence in speaking out in discussion with your peers.
