Seminar 2 reflection

In this seminar, we explored different quotes about travel and discussed their meanings. I really enjoyed analyzing these quotes because they made me think about travel in new ways—not just as a fun vacation, but as something deeper that can change how we see the world.

There were many controversies around the quote “All roads lead to Rome” and “Why do you climb Mount Everest (or something)? Because it’s there.” (With effort and money you could go to Rome… definitely. )

This seminar made me appreciate travel even more. I used to think of it mostly as a way to relax or see cool places, but now I understand it can also teach us about other cultures, push us out of our comfort zones, and even help us learn more about ourselves. However, I also think travel isn’t just about going far away—sometimes, exploring your own city or country can be just as meaningful.

(It was not my favorite seminar so it’s just this short… 🙂 )
