If you want to add it in the comments section, look for this: Attachment Browse… below. You can also use Add Media button (above the editor dashboard) but this doesn’t always work in comments so the  Attachment Browse… option is more reliable.

If you are adding a photo to your blog post, use the Add Media button (above the editor dashboard). You can also try copy-pasting the photo from elsewhere but that doesn’t always work. The Add Media button is the better method.

If you want the photo to show up as a cover for your blog post (a bit like in the links on the right hand side of this page if you are on a computer), use the Featured Image function. You can find this in a box to the right hand side of the post editor area when writing a post.
