Last weekend, I got to visit the land of Hyrule. It was awesome, but also kinda dangerous. Below is my whole journey for the weekend.
- Kakariko Village
First, I went to Kakariko village, where everyone wears Sheikah clothes. There were Cuccos everywhere, which is an interesting name for chicken, and I learned not to hit them (they swarm you and peck on you until you die). I met Impa, the old lady/head of village. She just laughed at me and said I was the “chosen hero.” How rude, considering I just woke up after sleeping 100 years or so. - Zora’s Domain
Next, I went to Zora’s domain, the fish-people city. It was all shiny and blue, and Prince Sidon gave me thumbs-up and showed me his teeth for multiple times. The Zoras were nice, but the trip there was annoying—it rained THE WHOLE TIME. I kept slipping off cliffs and dying. 🙁 - Death Mountain
Then, I tried going to Goron City, but it was SO HOT. I actually caught on fire a few times before a nice Goron gave me a Fireproof elixir (it tasted like spicy mud). The Gorons eat rocks like candy—weird, but they’re cool. Note: don’t try one. Trust me. - Rito Village
After that, I climbed my way to Rito village, where the bird-people live. Kass, the musician, played a song, but I was too busy trying not to fall off the bridges and high buildings. The Rito tribe can fly, which is a bit unfair. I had to climb everything. - Hyrule Castle (Not really)
I thought about going to Hyrule Castle to visit Ganon or maybe give him a slap or few, but as soon as I got close, a Guardian spotted me and started beeping and firing bombs at me. I ran away really fast, considering there was absolute no way was I getting laser-beamed today. Maybe next time.
The End
Hyrule was fun, but it’s tiring having to fight lizards, Lynels, bokoblins, etc. Other than that I rode horses, solved temples, and died a few times(yay!). Also I ate a lot of good stuff—meat skewers, fruit, even dubious food (don’t ask). But the best was Paya’s homemade pumpkin soup in Kakariko village. Way better than Rock Roast.
9/10, would visit again (with more Hearts/HP next time).
(The picture’s depicting me bombing a bokoblin tribe. Cool, isn’t it? )
(Wait, I should probably be saving Zelda by this time. )
(Maybe on my next visit. )
(Sorry Zelda. )
Wow! That’s bamboozled me! Very creative and interesting ideas even though I’ve no idea what it is you’re writing about – a computer game but not one I’m familiar with.
One question: What does it mean to ‘solve…temples’? Do the temples in the game house some kind of puzzle?
I didn’t use the word correctly…it’s more of a puzzle solving game level😥. There are many temples that requires solving puzzles and using our brain with different techniques.
(PS: The game is called Zelda:Breath of the wild, which is a game on Nintendo Switch.😙 )
Turning a game into a blog post is such a creative idea! You captured the funniest and most iconic moments so perfectly, especially Sidon’s smile and the angry chickens, felt like I was right there traveling.
Hope Zelda’s still patient, and don’t forget to play Tears of the Kingdom!
I’m currently obsessed with TotK, so no worries😌
