Also this reminds me of the thought experiment with the old boat and you replace all the old pieces with new ones until all the parts are new ones and you don’t know if the boat is still the same one as at the beginning.

I think if humans bio-engineered each other to be cancer-proof we’d have pacified one of the main ways humans die. We should learn from naked mole rats. Beautiful and protected animals, they are. (And cancerless,)

Another ethical concern is when procedures such as CRISPR is used to genetically modify babies, the “Desgigner babies” could appear. Babies that would be genetically selected for intteligence, eye color, atheletism, etc.

Wow! I find this stuff really interesting. When I was your age, I hoped to be a cyberpunk one day My G8 class are going to be doing their next unit on sci-fi so I think I'll add your post to their reading list Would you consider adding a 'featured image' (works as a sort of book cover for the post) to this post? It might attract more readers Have you seen that biohacker guy who gives people horns? I'm not sure what the point of that is, just cosmetic I suppose, but it sure looks interesting. Finally, I will add your game inspiration to a list of futuristic visions in art that I built for a project on Mushroom a few years ago. It's really rewarding when students share stuff for the benefit of their peers and others. Keep up the good work
