Here is evidence that we have that “The Nerdy Gator Kid” has committed the sin of plagiarism in his post “Who is Shakesphere.” He copy-pasted the information and even the same links without citations (see screenshot number 2). See? The normal links for Mushroom are blue, but his links, as shown in screenshot number 2, are red, directly copy-pasted from biography.com. The only change was the deletion of “theatrical company.”

I’m sorry this has caused confusion! When I posted Who is Shakespeare, my only goal was to share interesting facts I found with people who might want to learn more. I included the links directly from biography.com so anyone curious could go check out the original source themselves. I didn’t realize I needed to add a formal citation for sharing info this way. I never meant to plagiarize; I was just passing along what I read because I thought it was cool. I’ll make sure to add clear credit to the original website in my post right away to fix this and also add citations in my further posts.

You can add something like ‘According to biography.com, … ‘ to your post. Also, it’s better to comment on the information you find rather than just replicate it.
