Naughty Dirty Troll spreads disease around due to his unpleasant habits and bad personal hygiene. Soon everybody is sick. Luckily, Sister Duck has some medicine and she teaches Naughty Dirty Troll about how he can help to prevent the spread of disease by taking care of his personal hygiene. Naughty Dirty Troll also learns a lesson about keeping his teeth clean.
The story developed as a tool to tech the author’s toddler daughter about good hygiene habits and the consequences of being dirty. It was also part of the battle to get the little darling to brush her teeth properly.
Shortly after this book was published, a worldwide COVID pandemic broke out and the kids made a video of this book (on Youku) as a homework project to raise awareness of good personal hygiene practices. At this time, we updated the book to include the wearing of a mask.
