My bodied shivered like hell, in front of me was the worldwide infamous assassin Neil Borgenbom, and me?I’m just a regular worker from the secret military base of The United States.How will I ever stop him? Behind me was the door to the main operation center, and all I have is the upgraded version of stun gun I designed with my colleagues. I looked at the horrifying corpses of my workmates, the nervously pointed the gun at him.

He saw my action lang laughed:”I see you’re tryin’a stop me with that thing, but I tell ya it can’t happen.”

“You…you’ll never get in, the base do not have the things you want.”I gripped my gun tighter. The atmosphere was hot and tense, so quiet that I was able to hear the low rumblings of the operators behind me.

“Well, it depends doesn’t it?” He shrugged and held his laser gun to the air:”How about this, I came here, because people told me that there is a secret monster called ‘skin stealer’ hiding right in this base. That thing, is right behind you.So if you may ma’m just step aside to let me kill that chap and we can all go home?” He whistled in such a light tune I can hardly believe he has any emotions at all.

“And…I believe you’re completely wrong mister, er, Borgenbom, sir. Our base is completely safe from monsters and won’t need such…assassins!To come and protect us.”Drops of sweat came rolling down my cheek, I need to think of a plan, fast.

“Well is it then?Why is my electronic detectors saying that a killing weapon that could destroy the whole northeast of America was opened twenty minutes ago?It says it’ll explode forty minutes later.” He held up the device hidden in his pocket, a huge red mark was shown on its screen as it squeaks”WARNING! WARNING! Massive killing weapon detected open!“,”Anything to say for that?”he asked.

My heart stopped beating for a moment:”Well…I could go in and take a look, but you still can’t come in, er, sir.”

“That’s the thing,”he said in a mystical tone:”I wouldn’t know if you’re the monster.”

Gosh, I thought, he thinks I’m the skin stealer! How could he! I need to make up my plan fast!My hands are now dribbling with sweat now as I said my final words:”How unlucky you are today sir, that I must remind you that I have phone called, and the FBI on the way, they’ll be here within 5 minutes.You have nowhere to run.”

Yet he laughed again and asked a question I never thought of:”Eliza, I read you’re profile.What’s your last name again?”He slowly switched hands to held up profile that had my face on it.

Damn it.I didn’t look at her card , for god’s sake why didn’t I!What he’s holding definitely is the profile because I saw it yesterday!

Wait, I remember I still have the employee card! “Um, um……it’s……”I slowly tucked my hand down to my pocket, and found……nothing!My employee card was gone!

Whatever just think of one that sounds human!”It’s um…Smith!”

He got stunned for a moment, then smiled”You got it lucky for the last name, but your first name was Alicia.”

My heart stopped beating completely as I was stunned, rumbling of the machines have already faded from the ears I’ve stolen as is trembled to say these words”The…the FBI isn’t coming anyway……”

“No they are, I called them.”He gave up his classic creepy smile.

I finally fell to the ground, murmuring and shaking, no, no I can’t loose! These things only happen to the losers of our race, and how could I have made such a……everything is over, what could I do?

Stuck in my own thoughts, ha walked up to me,:”are you ……going to kill me?” I struggled to ask.

“Nah, you’re way better than the rest of them. Besides, I’ve never seen a skin stealer before, selling you could get me quite a lot of profit, now get aside kid and let me save the world.” He added on with his deep tone as I stared at him in disbelief”Besides, you’re still half Alicia Smith, that’s probably worth some help in my America-saving plan, now let’s finish this thing and I’ll get you some hot dogs.”
