We have been studying the theme of friendship but what exactly is friendship? How can it be ? There are various definition / definitions / defined available and this short text synthesizes a few of them. Friendship is studied in numerous academic / academically / academy fields, such as anthropology, and sociology. It refers to the the state of being friends and the emotions or conduct between friends. It is a distinctively personal relationship that is grounded in a concern on the part of each friend for the welfare of the other. That is to say, friends care about each other for both their own and for the other’s sake. Each party in a friendship wants to engage with the other, which means that they have a mutual interest in each other’s experiences and thoughts.
The concept / conceptual / conceptualise of friendship is also used at the level of international relations where it refers to a state of mutual trust and support between allied nations.
