In this paper, I will talk about my idea about Why travel. I think we are able to travel to other countries or cities, even I can say it is necessary to travel. However, paper below, I will critically talk about advantages and disadvantages of travelling. 

Travelling offers numerous benefits that enrich life in various ways. Travelling can also enhance self awareness. Travelling challenges you step out of the usual ways,  simulate personal growth and personal development by taking risk to a place hadn’t been to and by exposing individuals to various cultures, perspectives, and way of life. It also encourages adaptability, which can prove your communication skill. Furthermore, travel to somewhere you don’t recognize need the confidence. If you are not enough confident, no courage to face the challenge, you cannot go anywhere. For someone who does not challenge, they cannot go far away and fail. You can be more self reliant, and develop problem-solving skills. Furthermore, traveling provides oppertunities for valuable experience. 

The disadvantage of traveling is obvious. The cost for one trip is at least ten thousand RMB, especially if you are visiting popular place, the price is way bigger than other places, also for transportation, foods, and for activities. Also, it is hard for foriegn people to communicate if they aren’t using same languages. furthermore, a travel without travel guide need to plan all the schedules, it takes a long time to make an exact plan, not to mention make a plan for a long day travel. 

I have done close to nothing in my english class seminar, but I still have something to say about this interesting topic, so I made this blog post about it. Base on this, I am pretty sure that some might think travel is useless, but my idea about travel is that advantage is bigger than disadvantages. From my sharing of traveling’s pros and cons, I hope this can help you to make your decision.
